FRA and the Federal Highway Administration with the Department's of Transportation for Virginia and North Carolina completed a Tier-1 Environmental Impact Statement identifying the preferred corridor for the Washington, D.C. to Charlotte, N.C. portion of the Southeast High-Speed Rail Corridor (SEHSR).
