DOT Human Factors Symposium, being held on May 22, 2008 from noon to 2:30 p.m., is a cross-modal event sponsored by the DOT Human Factors Coordinating Committee (HFCC).  The objectives of holding this symposium are:

-   To promote Human Factors research in DOT and its relevance
-   To demonstrate transportation Human Factors research projects
-   To encourage cross-modal communication in transportation Human Factors research
-   To provide an opportunity for information exchange between DOT agencies and research
     organizations

Invited participants include DOT contractors, grantees and DOT internal researchers.  Organizations and universities with human factors expertise who are interested in exhibiting in this symposium should contact David Band by e-mail here , or by telephone at (202) 366-5677.
