ABSTRACT: The crew for Train 580-747 consisted of a locomotive engineer and a conductor. They reported for duty on November 8, 2015, at 8:15 a.m., CST, to CP’s Yard Office in Portage, Wisconsin, to re-crew the unit Bakken crude oil train. The crew members received more than the statutory off-duty period prior to reporting for duty. The Engineer had been off-duty for 67 hours and 30 minutes prior to the assignment and the Conductor had been off for 13 hours and 30 minutes.
